In the frenzied rush to get things done in your workplace, how comfortable is it to speak up, to ask questions, or to make a mistake? And importantly, how do you allow others to experience these processes?

If you work with people, if you solve problems and contribute to innovation, it is helpful if the answers to these questions lean towards the positive! Yet…we know that during the pandemic there is a growing national trend towards poor mental health and in many cases the workplace is the catalyst that contributes to stress, fatigue, and burnout.

Psychological safety is essential. In a knowledge economy, your employees’ creativity, intellect and curiosity need to be cultivated so that their ideas can be manifested. How can we create cultures where people are not silenced or criticized for their ideas, and can be themselves at work? For this discussion we have invited IRG Associate Coach, Dave Harrhy as our guest for a conversation about taking care of ourselves and our teams so that we can understand and create cultures of sustainable contribution, trust, and respect.

Dave will bring his in-depth knowledge of how to support and engage with minds at work. He will provide an overview of what psychological safety is, what it is not, and how all members of a team have a shared responsibility for contributing to the process of it.

What you will experience in this Masterclass:

  • Insight on building inspired teams;
  • Clarity on the responsibilities for establishing psychological safety;
  • Engaging conversation on bringing our Selves to work!
  • Connection with a community of inspiring leaders.
