Building your confidence with competence.

To the leader who lies awake at night wondering: How do I lead well in this ultra-complex landscape? The one who’s responsible for leading a team that might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed and possibly even disengaged.
How do I lead differently... and still get the work done?

The organizational landscape was complicated enough before the pandemic. And now in 2021, we’re faced with new and never-ending layers of complexity. A new focus on mental health. The crucial pivot toward coaching leadership. Essential work in diversity, inclusion and belonging.

And looming over all of it? Is the dreadful spectre of

The Great Resignation.

I’m Diane Lloyd, founder of Inspired Results Group.

And, as a seasoned hand in the field of leadership development, I’m hearing you.

You need a team. In EVERY sense of the word.

You need your people to navigate the complexity with you—gamely. To operate with trust and autonomy.

You need to lead from your values, and have faith in your vision.

You need to trust your own leadership style... and live it with confidence.

You need to have trust in your team.

Chat with me to learn more!

And there's this little question in your mind about whether you're leading the right way.

Let's be honest. Sometimes you’re simply a bottleneck. Decisions don’t get made unless you make them. But there is just so. much. to do.

You’re constantly putting out fires. It’s hard to get time to think. To see the bigger picture.

Your people want direction. Problem-solving. It feels like they want you to tell them what to do next. But you’re so buried under all the what-nexts that nobody can hear your muffled cries.

And sometimes, if you do tell people what to do, they don't respond well. Their eyes glaze over. Conflict pops up-and you've never been equipped to handle conflict productively.

Your team is more scattered than ever, pulled between tasks. Maybe even geographically separated. They’re grappling with bigger personal issues than they were before. And it colours how they show up at work.

Which is frustrating, because it feels like you need them to work even harder than before. More independently. Smarter. With more autonomy and trust.

Some of them are considering quitting and this is a key time to retain talent. It costs so much more to bring new people on and train them.

You dream of having a team where people take responsibility for what's going on. Where they don't blame each other, but instead collaborate to figure out a way forward. Where they're not stuck in being right, but instead choose to listen.

You dream of people seeking—and being able to take—feedback. Looking for ways to do things better. Stepping into their power so that they can make decisions autonomously.

You dream of leading your people with confidence. Helping them feel awesome. Inspiring them to go and be awesome.

But you don’t have the right tools for the job. You lack confidence in your abilities as a leader. It feels like there's something missing.

Meanwhile, the world spins faster and faster...

And all of you are burning out.

What if you could be that kind of inspiring leader? Able to create harmony, improve efficacy, call forth the absolute best from your people?

Introducing the...

A step-by-step process for getting your people performing at their best. By coaching...instead of controlling.

Imagine being able to get your people working better. You can, by shifting your leadership style, away from command-and-control...toward inquire-and-inspire.

That’s where the Inspired Leadership Signature Program comes in. It’s a program I’ve designed for leaders just like you, who are running from one fire to the next, wondering when they’ll ever be able to set the water bucket down and take a breath.

Here’s your breath.

In just ten short weeks, the things you’ll learn in this curated learning sequence will speed you happily away from that old command-and-control paradigm where everything relies upon YOU. Instead, you'll be coaching people—and that's the key that unlocks true organizational greatness.

I'm ready to be an Inspired Leader!

I am thrilled to be your facilitator and coach for this experience.

My company, Inspired Results Group, is on mission to end the era of command-and-control leadership through digital learning programs and executive coaching for managers and leaders. I have been coaching leaders for the past 10 years. Five years ago, I decided that I wanted to have an impact on the way leaders were actually being developed, and the way they were learning about themselves and the skills of leadership. I invested thousands of hours (and dollars!!) to pursue an MA in Leadership, as well as certification in Conversational Intelligence® and Dare to Lead™. During this same stretch of time, I reached my goal of becoming a faculty member at Royal Roads University and a successful entrepreneur. I have created this program for those who want to lead with confidence, heart and positive impact.

Coaching leadership is what your team needs now.

The research is piling up: Gallup points to a clear break from the way things used to be done in the workplace and what it calls the current “will of the workforce”. That will is for employees to have coaches instead of bosses, to work for purpose instead of a paycheck, and to have their leaders take a serious interest in developing their strengths and career paths.

From all the conversations I’ve been having with leaders, it's clear that the needs of Millennials and Generation Z are different than Boomers and Gen X. We need to adapt our leadership to meet the current and future workforce. The way we ourselves were led is not going to cut it for these employees. (Who, by the way, are our up-and-coming leaders.)

The time to shift our approach to leadership has never been more critical. Here are a dozen research-backed facts about why coaching is such a game changer:

  • Research (so. much. research.) shows the younger generation of workers want more coaching by their supervisors, so they can surface their greatest strengths
  • Coaching means you ask questions instead of giving instructions—a relief once you get the hang of it
  • Coaching improves people’s work performance
  • It also improves their communication skills
  • Studies show 80% of people who are coached at work experience greater self-confidence
  • Your people will come up with solutions you never dreamed of
  • When people work out their answers for themselves, they see themselves differently—and they see you differently, too
  • A coaching approach to leading opens the door to people taking more responsibility, for their projects as well as their own life situation (major spinoff benefits)
  • Coaching leadership naturally builds up your succession pipeline
  • Conflict drops when you give people tools to express themselves and take feedback
  • People love it when their boss takes an interest in developing their strengths and career paths
  • Star employees become easier to identify, empowering you to move talent to the projects where it’s most needed
  • A coach approach builds psychological safety in your organization

All of this is possible. It’s just one little switch.

The switch happens when you join an intimate, accepting, supportive cohort of other leaders just like you, and journey together over ten weeks of learning how to get your team inspired.

With decades of experience leading teams, departments and organizations, and extensive formal learning in coaching and leadership, I’ve crafted every learning module in the Inspired Leadership Signature Program to support you.

We develop your skills as a coach. We embed the practice of coaching throughout the program. We take you deep to uncover your values, discover your conflict style, figure out how to lead hybrid teams, and more.

We walk you step by step through every tool, approach, and practice to get your team on track and thriving.

This equips you not only with the most up-to-date leadership concepts, but the coaching skills to actually implement those concepts faster. With better engagement and buy-in.

Learn tools to improve your ability to lead and inspire your team. Learn more about yourself, so that you can be more intentional and authentic-to-you in your interactions instead of falling back on old habits that no longer serve you.

And practice your coaching skills so that, with regular use, you can move your team from What’s the point? to What can I do?

"Taking a coach approach to leadership is what I think is going to be most beneficial for me in my role. I have my list of “50 questions Inspiring Leaders Ask” that Diane shared with us by my desk. I’m trying to integrate more questions into every conversation with my team. The whole idea about moving away from just giving your own advice all the time and to asking more questions is going to be really beneficial for me in my role."

— Carly Milloy
Director of Advancement and External Relations, Pearson College UWC

The results are immediate. You can begin using these easy, practical tools right after you complete the first module.

And...you have access to each module for a whole 12 months following the Inspired Leadership Signature Program.

Lots of time to process the material. Lots of reasons to keep practicing with your team.

100% of previous program participants surveyed tell us they were able to immediately apply the learning from the Inspired Leadership Signature Program.

"I've never attended a learning session where I've learned so much about myself or one that I can immediately implement what I've learned without a whole lot of muss and fuss. It was just simple. The skills we learned get immediate results. I took what we learned and implemented it, and it was a beautiful thing. My team just loved it."

You want to connect with your team members at a deeper level. A more human level. More like the real, unique, authentic you. Because that’s where the door to inspired leadership is. The kind of leadership that motivates people to show up as their best selves and express the best version of themselves.

To deliver their finest work, collaborate harmoniously, and move thorny files forward—together. In trust.

"My two biggest takeaways from the Inspired Leadership Signature Program? Just doing a better job of asking questions and not letting my brain jump to answers. And secondly, related to that, in coming out of COVID, it’s doing a better job of asking people where they're at, and not making assumptions."

— Justin Kohlman
President, Coast Mountain College

You want the skills, mindset and tools to become a truly inspiring leader. Those are the kinds of humans we look up to. That we put our faith in. That we aspire to be more like.

And what makes an inspiring leader? One that people respect and admire—and want to emulate?

After years of coaching and leading, I break inspired leadership down into six key qualities:

So how will I change as a leader if I take the
Inspired Leadership Signature Program?

Great question. We already know you’ll pick up and nail great coaching skills. But you’ll also learn a TON about who you are and how you show up. This is a program of personal transformation.

There’s this little saying that Who we are is how we lead.

That’s Brené Brown talking. (Yep, I trained with her, too.)

She’s talking about your beliefs and your biases. Your dreams and your demons. Your pain and your perfection.

Your humanness.

We don’t always show up as our best selves. And for most of us, we think that’s a weakness. But it’s a humanness. We tend to compare ourselves to other leaders... and we worry when we don't lead the same way.

Discovering your uniqueness, as well as the habits and beliefs that hold you back, is just as valuable as naming your strengths. And when you integrate those into your leadership style, you show up as authentic to your team. Real. Open to growth. And accepting that everyone— including you— is utterly unique.

The work I’ve done over the past decade forms the foundation of this program. I draw from my own experience as a senior leader in a large, complex organization. I build in knowledge from my master’s degree in leadership. I shape the learning around the power of coaching, honed through my ICF accreditation...and hundreds upon hundreds of hours of coaching.

And, as a Dare to Lead™ accredited facilitator, I integrate memorable lessons from researcher and leadership expert Brené Brown.

I'm ready to lead differently!

How will the Inspired Leadership Signature Program improve my culture at work better than other leadership development offerings?

Because through every week of the program you’re building:

  • your self-awareness—of your values, your strengths and your mindset, so you can lead with more trust, compassion and curiosity;
  • a deeper understanding of neuroscience;
  • an understanding of your conflict and communication style, as determined through the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI 2.0) assessment, one of the most powerful measures we've ever found to help leaders recognize what's holding them back;
  • practical skills for conversations that build trusting cultures;
  • tools and techniques for engaging virtual leadership;
  • confidence in using coaching skills to inspire engagement and performance;
  • a resilience strategy to ensure they can meet the demands of leading through increasing complexity; and
  • confidence to inspire a high-performing team.

And because every week, you’re practicing — with us, and at work, by immediately putting the learning into play.

You’re one click away from saying yes to a doable, immediately usable set of learnings that have the power to create the team and culture that—until now—you’ve only dreamed of.

"The shift in mindset brought clarity for me. That who I am professionally is actually who I am personally. I used to think those might have been two different things—that my work environment forced me to conduct myself in ways that I wouldn't normally. I didn't believe that was actually how I ran my personal life as well, too. That was a big epiphany moment for me, especially after we did the Strengths Deployment Inventory, and in conjunction with that, the values. It was almost a triangulation of all the things that I've wondered about in my lifetime. Now, I accept who I am as a person, because that's who I am as a leader."
— Shauna Paul, Principal, Westminster School

It’s lonely at the top. And it doesn’t have to be.

In the Inspired Leadership Signature Program, you’ll be taking the course with other leaders who share these same headaches. This is a special group of avid learners from a variety of sectors: business, education, and not-for-profits, held in a sacred container of non-judgment... so we can all show up as ourselves.

This is the quality of space that Inspired Results Group creates: safe, inclusive, non-judgmental, honest. You and other leaders will join a unique and cohesive community that is supportive, accepting, and vulnerable.

People get real around here.

And they love the freedom that brings.

"What the Inspired Leadership Signature Program brought for me was a calmness in my life. It brought clarity for me around a number of matters, and gave me a peacefulness. There was no way I was missing a Tuesday with Diane. That was my safe space to go to as a leader, knowing that I could just drop something out and no one would judge me on it. Whereas I could not do that in my work, because I wouldn't get the same support that I got through the program with Diane and Nicole and all the mentors that we had."

"This program is timely. We’ve all experienced the last 18 months of working from home. We're looking at back-to-work, but what does that look like? There is good information in this program about the pros, the cons, what you might face in such an environment. That content will be valuable as we try to decipher as a group, what does hybrid look like?"

"The Inspired Leadership Signature Program is a very good investment because you get all the benefits of a long-term course. That group work, that camaraderie, the networking, you get all of that in a short-term course. You get time to work on you, which most people don't. There's real value for the money."

— Mike Doyle
Vice-President Corporate Services, Coast Mountain College

"There were so many practical tools, tips and tricks that I could use right away, including some of Diane's facilitation techniques and strategies."
— Carly Milloy, Director of Advancement and External Relations, Pearson College UWC

"I would leave the Inspired Leadership Signature Program class on Tuesday morning and be like, ‘Ah! I'm going to take that and do that in my leadership team meeting tomorrow.’ The learnings work when the rubber hits the road. I could just take it and do it. And that was fantastic."
—Tammy Khanna, Executive Director, Independent Living Housing Society

"The Inspired Leadership Signature Program captures a holistic approach to leadership. It was exactly what all of us need to do right now in this leadership world moving forward. We have to get strong on our values. We have to understand who we are as leaders. Although every Tuesday was a different topic, there wasn't one Tuesday where the leadership concept was siloed. It was all scaffolding and scaffolding and scaffolding, moving in and out of the different competencies leaders need. The synthesis by the end of it all was profound."
— Shauna Paul, Principal, Westminster School
